Crime Statistics Agency - Aboriginal Justice Indicators dashboard

The Aboriginal Justice Indicators (AJI) dashboard is produced by the Crime Statistics Agency (CSA) to provide publicly accessible data and statistics on Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and their contact with Victoria Police. The dashboard is released bi-annually.

The 2024-25 dashboard includes data on:

  • Family violence
  • Victims of crime
  • Family violence
  • Victims of crime
  • Alleged offending
  • Women and girls
  • Children
  • Pathways through the justice system.

Note that:

  • In this dashboard, the term 'Aboriginal' is used to describe people who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The CSA uses a 'most frequent' counting rule to provide robust statistics on Aboriginal status.
  • In some instances the dashboard uses slightly different counting rules compared to other CSA outputs. The data may not be directly comparable across other outputs.

For more information, please see the explanatory notes within the dashboard or contact the Crime Statistics Agency.
