This point layer contains Aids to Navigation to assist in providing safe shipping in Port Phillip. This dataset includes Aids to Navigation managed by the Port of Melbourne.

The Aids to Navigation mark the shipping channel and also assist in marking the centre lines and extremities of the channel in which ships must navigate.

These points are NOT to be relied upon for navigational purposes.
