Victoria's waste and resource recovery infrastructure map data

This dataset details the current locations of Victoria’s waste, recycling and resource recovery infrastructure facilities, including:

• landfills

• hazardous waste facilities

• material recovery facilities (MRF)

• resource recovery centres (also known as transfer stations)

• reprocessors.

For each infrastructure facility, the dataset includes:

• name

• facility type

• infrastructure type

• facility owner

• address.

This dataset does not include:

• Small-scale infrastructure such as battery collection points. This information can be found on Planet Ark’s Recycling Near You website.

• Non-licenced landfills or closed landfills. This information can be found on the Victoria Unearthed map.
