DE Annual Report 2023/24 - Departmental Objectives Progress

The department's performance statement was substantially revised in 2023–24 with a new set of objectives, indicators and measures, and a revised suite of output performance measures to better reflect service delivery within early childhood education and schooling services. This is set out in the 2023–24 Victorian Budget Service Delivery: Budget Paper No. 3 (BP3) and reported in this annual report.

Objective 1: Raise development outcomes of 3 and 4-year-old children prior to attending school

Objective 2: Raise learning, development, engagement and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorian students

Objective 3: Provide equitable and inclusive schooling to all Victorian students
